General Casey just summed up BushCo's PR message on Iraq... |
|
On CSPAN, I just heard General Casey spewing the BushCo lies and propaganda on Iraq. Obviously, they're reacting to sinking poll numbers on Iraq with shameless lies and distortions.
General Casey said, "The terrorists will not break the will of the American people. They are trying, but they will not succeed."
This is the linchpin message of BushCo's new Iraq-war publicity bonanza, "If you are against the war--then you are weak and you have been influenced by the terrorists--therefore you are unAmerican and you have more in common with terrorist killers than Americans."
This is their strategy. This is the big lie that we will be forced to hear repeatedly in the coming days.
Will America buy it?

1. The will of the people |
|
is their new talking point.
Bush was able to mention the will of the people about 10 times in a 20 minute speech last week. Put Will of the People as the first on the list for the drinking game for tomorrow.

3. We will never break the will of the Iraqis, though. Where does that leave |
|
us? The will of America was to catch Bin Laden, and the Iraqi's have NOTHING to do with that.

I do not care how much it aids the terrorists to know that I do not support the Illegal Immoral War of Aggression that is Bush's war.

They'll do what Busholini tells them to. They may occasionally grumble, but they'll do what they are told.

7. Hell Yes.... We may not buy it. |
|
But the average Joe out there in the Heartland will..I have lost faith in the American people and do not get my hopes up anymore....These republicans are slick spin masters and know exactly what buttons to push to get the American rednecks on their side.... and with the spineless Dems out there, and the RW compliant media......we are fucked!... Simple as that!!!... Sorry I'm not more optimistic.

8. How about Rummy pulling his old trick again...connecting Iraq to 9/11? |
|
Edited on Mon Jun-27-05 01:22 PM by glarius
He said...."Americans know it's better to fight them over there than over here".....and "Americans have not forgotten 9/11".....which he said when talking about Iraq......Why won't those cowardly reporters call him on this?....THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN IRAQ AND 9/11!!!!1 It's disgusting!!!!

10. it's part of a disturbing trend.... |
|
Now that the majority of Americans question this misadventure, they've turned their wrath on the American people themselves.
It's interesting how free they feel to alienate over half of the population - pretty clear proof of who owns and manipulates the voting machines.
