FREEPERS TRASHING PLAME - she wasn't REALLY A SPY
The Freepers are a little uneasy about the Supremes refusing to permit the Plame reporters to protect their sources. So, they are doing the usual Republican two step - whining about how this is really no big deal, plame wasn't really a spy, and who cares, yeah, that's the ticket. My favorite freeper post is below. LOSERS!

Why anybody gives a turd about this plame birdbrain is beyond me, she was no secret, she was out in the open and she was obviously an idiot, look at the lame-brain she married. The Government needs to drop all charges against Mr. Novak, he was doing us a favor, another so-called secret agent gone a plame, too stupid to keep a secret. We don't need secret agents like la plame or the dirty ugly husband.

1. Was that written by a...
Gold paint huffing 10-year-old? Sure reads like it.

2. Well, that one is technically "right".
"We" (i.e., braindead freepers) certainly don't "need" agents like Plame or her husband because they don't blindly follow orders from the White House to manipulate intelligence.

3. Just look at the desperation in that post:
"dirty ugly husband"

Joseph Wilson's credibility is untouchable. Simply because Wilson called out their Bush-God on his lies they think he's a horrible person.

Fucking morans.

20. The insult was gratuitous, his credibility was good,
but his methodology sucked.

Did Niger export yellow-cake? Let's see ... state influence in the uranium-mining industry, money to be made, government says no. CIA's response: Send Wilson to ask government and industry officials if they were lying. Like whether or not to lie depends on the person asking. Silliest approach I ever heard, and one for which the CIA deserves razzing.

4. You know, when the good Lord gives the Earth an enema, he's
gonna put it in in Fresno. That said,

Yes, dipshit, Valarie Plame was a spy, a DEEP UNDERCOVER SPY. Her team was responsible for chasing down and stopping WMD from entering the United States and being used against its citizens by terrorists. Do you understand that, or does someone need to explain the severity of *someone's* actions in the White House leaking this information to novscum. Sensitive intelligence operations were compromised, operatives were killed. To reveal information this sensitive to a scummy newspaper reporter is tantamount to TREASON. Another big word you can look up in your dictionary.

And before you criticize Plame or her husband, I suggest you do just a smidgen of research. Neither is an idiot nor a lame brain. But well thought of members in the diplomatic and intelligence communities.

21. I thought that she had been an undercover agent
when her husband was posted at an embassy (you know, one of those horrible "spooks-at-the-embassy" people we keep hearing about), but after he was transferred back to the states she worked in Langley as an analyst; they kept her cover in place in case she was sent back to the field, and to provide cover for people that had worked with/under her in the field.

7. Freepers and the word "complete syllable" don't mix.
They can't even complete a sentence, so no surprise the amount of braincells being used over there to trash Joe Wilson who knew about the Downing Street meetings......

9. But one can overlook that shortcoming,
when they make up for it with their knowledge of current events.

ie: "MSNBC just did a nice 30 minute infomerical for Seymore Hersh's book about how "Chain of Command" that insinuates that Bush personally, along with Rice, Rove, Chenney and Rumsfeld, approved 'torture' (ie: being forced to wear depends on your head) at Gitmo and Abu Garub. This gave them ample opportunity to blast those stupid photos again and again. The closed with a mealy mouthed Pentagon statement. They neglected, of course, to mention the many prosecutions, including Lyndsie English..."

10. Are those people total idiots?!?
How can they get it so insanely backwards on Lynnie English and the GITMO torture, and believe that Joe Wilson is a liar at the same time?

11. Saw on Tucker Carlson's show both his guests refer to her
as "Laura England".

Ole bowtie just smiled and smiled, as if to say, "Whee, I'm still on TV even though I'm completely discredited." Nobody corrected the error.

14. Larissa, re: Tucker show...what I saw of it sucked
Seems like it's trying to be some combination of KO and Scarborough...I don't know if those other two guys are regulars on the show, but they were so horribly uninformed that it seemed like they were just there to spread the misinfo out among 3 mouths, rather than have it all come out of Tucker.

8. At least the Treason Party brownshirts are consistent...
They know to go into lockstep against officials of the US government if it dares hurt their precious Rethuglican Party.

The Party of Theocrats, Chickenhawks, Draft Dodgers, Hatriots, PNAC Players, War Profiteers and legions of liars and sadists...

...all standing behind the AWOL Pussy Liar...all standing for what is actually against their own interests...but Mommy wants them to be a Repug...so a Repug they will be.

18. There's no charges against Novak
I think he squealed like a stuck pig in front of the Grand Jury. He gave a statement to them long ago.

Whom did he incriminate? I don't know...

23. I love Joe Wilson's description of Novak
when he ran into him on the set of MTP

"...When the elephants fight, the grass gets trampled. In this fight, Novak was a rather insignificant blade of grass, willingly bent to the political agenda of others. To this day, I ask myself how his colleagues continue to tolerate him in their presence. Around Washington his critics call him Bob "NoFact" for his sloppy tabloid-gossipy articles that often stray far from the truth. Having long since prostituted himself to the Right as its uncritical shill, he offers little original insight."

from "The Politics of Truth" Joseph Wilson

BTW, "ugly"??? IMO, Joe Wilson is pretty hot.
