From article:
"Walton served in the Vietnam War as a combat medic with the Army's elite Special Forces, winning the Silver Star for saving lives under fire."
Give the guy some respect.

I grew up in Bentonville many years ago before WallyWorld was the behemoth it has become and I had opportunity to meet the family. He was probably the least involved of all the kids in the running of the family empire. I'm told that he lived on the west coast and worked designing sailboats for a number of years. Mom Helen was involved in a very serious auto accident a few years back and is not in good health.

6. Then it would have been nice if he'd gone to bat for Walmart employee's.. |
|
Who knows, maybe he tried and was shot down by the other parts of the billionaire boys club that is the Walton spawn.
Wouldn't it be strange if some Walmart employee took out a life insurance policy on HIM?!?!

5. It sounds like he was piloting.. Jackson Airport is not easy... |
|
given the cross winds, the effect of altitude and of course, those mountains right there. Amateur pilots underestimate the impact of that thin air all the time, unfortunately....
