Nashua - John Edwards makes people smile
Watching the NH Dem Party Gathering on Cspan and imagining that the audience is Congress and the speaker coming down the aisle is the President on his way to a SOTU.

Of all the speakers, Edwards got the most aisle smiles and reaches out for touches etc. This is huge and translatable to a national favorable reaction to him as a candidate.

I am a Clark supporter, primarily because I think security, both national and international, will be the main issue - but am growing increasingly comfortable with Edwards.

I also like Kerry, but fear his long and documented voting record and Brahmin-like image will not travel well in the GE.

Dean has been great for stimulating our party, earning my gratitude, but ultimately not my primary vote, due to general election negatives.

1. Funny
Watching his speech after Iowa, I caught myself beaming from ear to ear. I saw myself in the mirror near the TV, and thought, "what the hell? why am I smiling?" He has that affect on people.

2. Relaxed and Enthusiastic at the same time
I like that Edwards' personality shines through. He managed to be both relaxed and enthusiastic with the crowd today. I saw him on CSPAN and people were just loving him. I think he has a good heart, a good record, and he truly believes in what he is doing and saying. It shines through.

3. Sorry, but I always wonder about people who talk
out of the side of their mouthes- kinda like Pataki.

5. It's amazing. You don't even realize it. But you just SMILE.
Think of how this would improve the mental health of the nation (along with the economy, jobs, fairness, etc.).
