"One of the highlights of the week is expected to be the discussion Friday afternoon between Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean and Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman on how the two parties will address important issues in the Hispanic community. The two, along with Gutierrez, are to participate in a town hall meeting from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m."

"Saturday, Little Rock resident Wesley Clark, a retired U.S. Army general and former NATO commander who ran for president in 2004, is to address the convention.

Clinton is to be guest speaker Friday evening during an event at the Statehouse Convention Center.

LULAC is the oldest and largest Latino civil rights organization in the United States. LULAC advances the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs operating at more than 700 LULAC councils nationwide."
