So, one year ago today Iraq became sovereign, eh?
Anyone care to offer up the many ways in which Iraq has exhibited and taken advantage of its new-found sovereignty?

I'm quite at a loss.

"Sovereignty means that, it's sovereign. You're a -- you're a -- you have been given sovereignty and you're viewed as a sovereign entity."

3. According to the Chimp when asked when the rebuilding of Iraq would begin
Sovereign means ask them -> they are sovereign. AKA not my fault again.

5. Well now, in all fairness maybe they're still
regrouping. ;)
They were surprised because Bremer quick-kicked sovereignty instead of punting it. Took 'em completely unawares. They weren't supposed to "get the keys" until three days later but Bremer was afraid the insurgency would focus attacks on that day.

But hey.........we all know how well that's worked out, eh?

6. They were sovereign until March 20, 2003. They're now an occupied country.
Like it or not, that's just simple fact.
