2. What do you think would happen if

the audience turned on him once he mentions the years long commitment?

Groans and boos? I'd like to see that.

Of course, as its a military audience in front of him, all he'll see is happy adulation.

I wish our soldiers would show the same balls to our President that they show to their enemy on the battlefield. If they're dissatisfied with their leader, they should make it known.

If they don't want to go to Iraq and stay there forever, they should make it known LOUDLY.

8. Don't expect it . . .
Soldiers, despite their personal feelings, remain loyal to the oaths they took. They will not disrespect the office, regardless of their feelings about its current holder. The only reason I get away with it is that, as a reservist, I am a civilian most days out of the year. But for that weekend I put on my uniform, I keep my criticisms to myself.

16. Do you suppose that if Bush did serve in Viet Nam, he would have been
killed by his own troops?

6. Yes, but...
It will make for some interesting Air America chatter tomorrow! Also looking forward to Stephanie Miller's show tomorrow morning. I may have to shut my office door so that my co-workers will not think I have lost my mind when I am laughing outloud at the radio!
