WASHINGTON, June 28 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Following is a statement by Eli Pariser, executive director of MoveOn PAC:

"Apparently the Republican National Committee didn't get the memo. There was no connection between Iraq and the 9/11 terrorists attacks. President Bush has acknowledged this.

"Many senior foreign policy and intelligence experts believe that the U.S. invasion of Iraq diverted resources from an effective 'War on Terror.'

"At a time when Osama bin Laden is still at large, it is hard to see how our failure in Iraq is getting us any closer to apprehending him."
