Bush: We cannot forget the lessons of 9/11... |
|
Weren't those lessons that our military incursions in the Middle East and unilateral support for Israel are dangerous and counterproductive?

1. He is milking that for all it's worth |
|
Shameless. This country keeps trying to get over 9/11 -- and to make changes that will make another attack less likely -- while this IDIOT keeps pulling the scab off the wound at every opportunity.
I HATE THESE PEOPLE!!!

2. What WERE the lessons of 9/11? |
|
When people fly planes into buildings and the ground, you probably should stop reading to school kids and get about the business of being the fucking PRESIDENT?
After all, you worked hard enough to steal the fucking office, didn't you, Fuckface?

11. One lesson is how vulnerable we are to a bad president. |
|
We learned that if we aren't vigilant, our president can take us for a ride, for his own personal gain. They stood NORAD down. And that alone should have been enough to enrage the world. But we failed to awaken from our stupor. We aren't going to learn in time to avoid the evil plan he has. The plan he has completed. His mission is done. Our learning has only begun. The damage is done.

8. No we can't, george, especially since you insist on milking it, |
|
SHAMELESSLY, every chance you get.
What were there - half a dozen mentions of "September THE eleventh, 2001" to add to the grandeur and stature of the event, I suppose. Still trying to get maximum exploitation out of all those powdered, still unidentified remains, 'eh, george? How's it working for ya?

10. Oh, he was not about to let us forget 9-11 |
|
By my count (speech started at 8:00 pm)
9/11 Reference #1 at 8:02 p.m. 9/11 Reference #2 at 8:04 p.m. 9/11 Reference #3 at 8:09 p.m. 9/11 Reference #4 at 8:24 p.m.
Suprisingly, Bush referred to Osama Bin Laden by name...
Osama Reference #1 at 8:07 p.m. Osama Reference #2 at 8:09 p.m.
1st spontaneous applause did not occur until 8:25 p.m.
NO mention of WMDs!
