The division begins in earnest... Rinse and repeat...
The country has been dividing itself since the first day George Bush was selected by the Supreme Court, but now, the division begins in earnest. There is no division like the division over war. Remember Vietnam. Stay the course, some said. Others said, are you crazy? And every day more more troops died and every day some said we need to stay the course. Others said, are you still crazy? And so the cycle begins. If it is anything like Vietnam, there is not much we can do except watch more people die, until it becomes too heavy for even the cold-hearted conservatives to carry anymore. Rinse and repeat.

1. Yes, true.
What other option do we have to stop, or help these war along? The division will always be there, and people should realize that. What other way could this war be looked at? Its sad that while both sides fight, the men/women in our armed forces are dying. I don't know what we can do to stop this war, there isn't anything we can do but oppose it/support it. If you are looking for an answer to the rinse and repeat question, i don't have one for you persay. One side is dead locked into support, because if they don't support it, than everything they advocated is meaningless. The people on the other side, what else can they do? I can't think of anything. In short, i do believe your last statement, that when enough lives are lost, even the most cold hearted conservative will not be able to carry on...
