Last week, democrats in the House wanted to debate and vote on a bill that would raise the cost of dumping trash in Michigan. Republicans didn't and blocked the conversation in the same way -- they say -- democrats did when they were in charge.

But democrats say republicans committed a felony when they didn't allow them to speak.

Rep. Stephen Adamini, D-Marquette, said “Last Thursday when those four representatives who offered amendments were refused the opportunity to speak, they effectively silenced the voice of over 360,000 citizens of Michigan. That kind of garbage that goes on on the House floor has got to stop.”
