The media is/are giving the Democrats an opening.......
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 11:44 AM by kentuck
On the connection between 9/11 and the war in Iraq. Each Democrat should point out that there was no connection between the two. Especially since the media is addressing this topic at this time - after the speech last night. In my opinion, the Democrats should repeat this like a mantra as long as it is in peoples consciousness and on the cable networks. Play the game just like the Repubs would do. Ride that horse.

3. As long as the Democrats are careful about it
The Republicans will be calling out their hate brigades with an onslaught of Left-wing Liberal Bias toot-sweet! The "media" needs to roll out the tape of Bush speaking the words "There is no connection"!!!

As well as the Bush clones and wannabes making the same statements.

4. Not only should they do that but they should remind Americans that BUSH
failed to protect this nation on that fateful day, and now he's exploiting that fact.

5. I just posted in a GD thread that "the door is wide open"...
not just on this, but on other points and issues. The media is fairer at the moment, the war is unpopular, and W increasingly so. Our Dem leaders and spokespeople must seize this opportunity.

8. I think the Dems need to be SUPER careful
about what they say because Rove and his minions will go over every single word to see what they can distort. Rove will then instruct the MSM to focus on attacking the Dems rather than comment on all Bush's errors.
