2. Basically the Dems think that

the founding fathers wrote a good Constitution that doesn't need to be changed to allow a Taliban to run the country.

Also the Dems think that FDR's social security plan was a good one. They don't think it needs "reforming." The same goes for the other FDR programs.

What it boils down to is this: The Republicans want to dismantle FDR's programs & they want to have a theocracy. The Democrats don't.
