For Disinguished Commentary. It says on the Washington Post columnist page in his mini-bio. Talk about lowering the bar. '87? He should be tossed out to the pasture by now. He's past his best by at least 15 years. If he ever had any "best" years. I bet he was a Reagan bootlicker extraodinaire. Can you win a Pulitzer for Distinguished Ass Kissing?

1. For years I felt sorry for him
because of his status as a paraplegic since his early 20s. I have to think that is one reason he is such a vicious warmonger.

And I have never felt he was worthy of a Pulitzer Prize. I would just pray that he learn a little love and compassion, even in his wheelchair. I happen to know, from an NDE of my own, that this is all we can carry into the hereafter when this life ends.

2. yeah, I don't mean to denigrate his disability, I hope I don't come off
like that.

It's just his commentary is virtually all garbage. To put it nicely.

3. I respect his disability, but he's still a raging douchebag Bushsucker.
To not critcize him for his paper-thin arguments, his obvious and issue-independant bias, and his complete and utter disdain for anything that isn't NeoConservative thought because of his disability would be to hold him to a lower standard because of it.

4. He's not the first asshole to have won...
... a Pulitzer, and he probably won't be the last. When Rush Limpballs starts getting them, that's when I no longer have any faith in discrimination of the Pulitzer board. :)

5. What award
Must have won the Pulitzer for the most war hungry columnist in the business. Plus he is a total suck up for the Israelis.
