The Blogosphere Has Astonished Tony Blair!
Guys, we've got plenty to be proud of. We have kept the Downing Street Memo story alive and we have challenged our elected leaders to respond to a memo that revealed the truth and the best news is that the battle isn't over yet. Brave men and women like will continue to fight the good fight.

As the battle rages I thought that all of you would like to know that we have "astonished" the Prime Minisiter of Britain with our efforts that have led to the coverage of the Downing Street Memo in the US media.

First of all watch the video or read the transcript below. The video is from FOX News but it's certainly worth your time and I thought that the video from FOX News would give it that extra zing that this story needs.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair says the Iraq war was not pre determined by the Bush administration. Speaking to the Associated Press Mr. Blair said he was "A bit astonished at the amount of news coverage the so called Downing Street Memo got in the US" That memo suggested that the Whitehouse was looking for ways to go to war in Iraq.

It's sad, but not surprising to see Tony Blair defend the Bush administration but again we have a lot to be proud of. Keep it up you guys and I look forward to astonishing Tony Blair many times in the near future!

4. yeah
I know that he is denying the validity of the DSM but I'm pointing out that he is astonished that the mainstream media here in the US covered the DSM and he is astonished at our power.

5. Read what Blair said...carefully
Blair is NOT denying the memo he is "astonished" by the reaction to it. What Blair did is a non-denial denial. He NEVER said it was un-true. These guys crack me up.

6. Tony Blair
is a liar! I can't believe he's still in office. There was an impeachment movement against him last year AIRC.

He's shocked because he was probably assured by the neocons that he need not worry about the US Media!! They probably told him Americans would be told what to think.

Thanks, Mark for all your efforts ~ :-)

We are following it on our blog also and keeping people up to date in the forums ~ www.talknation.org ~

7. I agree with him.
"A bit astonished at the amount of news coverage the so called Downing Street Memo got in the US"

I don't blame him. It hasn't gotten NEARLY the coverage it deserves.
