Heard Lieberman tell a crowd - that his campaign had moved to 3rd |
|
in New Hampshire. Is this true?
Have to admit I feel a bit bad for the once-deemed front runner... revving his loyal crowd up with stories of how many republicans had told him they would vote for him (he used the... If I had a dollor for each time some republican came up and told me... rhetoric.)... and by raising spirits for a surge to third place.
What is their strategy? They sat out Iowa to focus on New Hampshire...and if placing 3rd is great news... where do they go (strategically) next?
Have to admit that this is one campaign I have not really followed. Is anyone paying attention - and care to try to summarize the strategy of the Lieberman campaign?
*friendly reminder to those who might respond... remember the rules... bite back those snarky comments... be respectful to those democrats who support Sen. Lieberman.*

3. I am concerned about Lieberman |
|
I think he is being underestimated by many. Just my opinion. Of course, I am concerned b/c I think he may surprise people with a third place (maybe better?) finish. That would put my candidate further down. I just feel it.

4. Nope. Clark, Edwards, and Lieberman ... |
|
... are all in the MOE together. Liberman can only claim a dubious third in one poll. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/01/25/elec04.prez.lieberman/index.html

8. Interesting... knew this was going to be a 'wild and wooly' primary |
|
season - and indeed it is.
But where does he go next? To my understanding only two campaigns have designed a thinner nationwide strategy, and the others are doing the more traditional - focus initially on a few strategic states - invest significantly and build staffs in those states, and start preparing for the next round ... in order to mobilize if one is successful in the strategic states.
With that model - if he doesnt do well (and a surge to third-fifth doesn't suggest a big momentum builder)... but appears to still be fully in the campaign... where is the campaign focusing its next round of efforts?

9. With the candidates available, |
|
if the voters of New Hampshire choose to vote for Joe, then I guess I'll just figure there isn't really much point anymore.

Is the best republican candidate running. The DLC is coming on strong. Hey, four more years of B### might not be so bad. Lol Kidding, but I don't like the looks of this.

10. NH is a pretty conservative state |
|
Despite what the polls say, Dean has the upper hand in NH. Most of the state shares media with Vermont, and they have known about Dean for over a decade. He was a damn great governor, too. Great record. Clark, Kerry and Lieberman all stand a chance at taking 2nd place in NH. Edwards will likely finish only ahead of Kucinich and Sharpton.

14. That's the only poll he's leading in... |
|
In all the others it's either Clark, Dean or Edwards who switch between the 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

15. In the Gallup poll yes. |
|
And I must concede that it is possible. Independents and Republicans are coming in large enough numbers towards him to cause this.
