Dem activists stood and cheered Kerry's words. Internet boards twist them.
They gave him an ovation for his words, he was telling them to get to work.

It was internet message boards who twisted the words "move on" and "crying in teacups" out of their intended meaning.

"Presidential candidate John Kerry attempted Monday to light a fire under a lethargic Democratic Party that he said had gotten lazy the past few years.
"Addressing party activists at a luncheon at Claflin University, the Massachusetts senator urged the party faithful to go out and fight for their beliefs.

"'The way to do it is to get mad, to get angry, to get active, to get out there and get off your ...,' he said to prolonged cheers, without completing the thought. 'Get going.'

"Kerry's sermonette was prompted by a questioner dismayed by the outcome of the 2000 presidential election won by George W. Bush and the drubbing Democrats took in the 2002 election. "Bush lost the popular vote to Democrat Al Gore, but captured the electoral vote after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in the GOP's favor by denying a vote recount in Florida.

"'Just because the Supreme Court made the wrong decision in 2000 doesn't mean we have to live with it for the next six years,' Kerry said."

1. Kerry is a leader
Kerry is a war hero.

Bush lied to America.

Bush is a sissy.

The choice is clear...

2. John Kerry waffles all the time because he is an opportunist
but since his words are on the record, showing the many ways in which Kerry has placed himself on every conceivable angle on issues, will be his undoing in the Fall if the Democrats are naive enough that they can nominate this DLC Bonesman and win the election.

Here is a taste of what you can expect about Kerry's record, and think about how his words will play with an American public that is jingoistic and anti-French:

Excluding other nations in rebuilding Iraq is dumb

Q:What about excluding France & Germany from rebuilding Iraq?

A:I can't think of anything dumber or more insulting or more inviting to the disdain and potential failure--disdain of countries and potential failure of our policy. This policy is not about Halliburton. It's about Iraq. It's about the Iraqi people. It's about America's role in the war on terror. What Bush is doing is actually putting America at greater risk, putting our soldiers at greater risk, and making the chances of success more remote

6. Thanks for proving my point
Point 1: Excluding other nations in rebuilding Iraq is dumb

Response: We should have built an international coalition to begin with and Kerry wanted that from the start. Halliburton did not have divine providence to get no-bid contracts. Halliburton should not have accepted a $ 6 million bribe to secure sub-contracts. The Bushies have too much baggage here and they know it.

Point 2: Voted yes on killing a bill for trade sanctions if China sells weapons.

Response: a vote to table is NOT a yes vote. Don't try to re-write history, please. It was a vote to table - not a vote for it.

Point 3: Voted yes to the IMF

Response: How would this hurt him in a head-to-head race against the Chimp? And the Republicans wouldn't have voted for it? So what?
