I noticed this at the blog earlier this evening, and wondered. I always thought of it as a Democratic site, but I admit I never read enough to say for sure.

Someone asked him why there was a hit piece on Dean right under the one about the conference call,and he answered this:

"I'm trying to make the site more balanced -- and
I think it's a fair argument that Dean has mobilized the base on both sides.
If it gets more voters involved in the political system for me to put up two
sides on Dean -- I'm all for it. And what makes me proud is that I get
comments from both sides -"

It just struck me odd, and maybe I had a misconception. I never paid enough attention, just thought it was Democratic. He did change the article, I think to another one. Criticism of Dean is fine, just did not think of it as being beneficial in the way he describes it.
