We shouldn't react at all yet |
|
Send condolences, prayers (if that's your thing), and best wishes to the people of London but it is not yet known who did this or why. Reacting right now involves jumping to conclusions, and assigning blame without evidence - that is the M.O. of the far right and the feeble minded.
What we know right now is that a horrible crime was committed in London and that many innocent people were hurt and even killed. Something that happens in Iraq and Afghanistan every day). That is all we know right now though. React when there is a basis for it.

are saying that this is showing signs of Armature work - for instance, they are saying that Al Queda generally (as they did in Madrid) generally pack nails and other metal around the bomb to maximize damage. It does not appear that that happened here.

3. Hmmm, calmly and reasonably assessing the situation and the facts |
|
Identifying the criminals, gathering evidence and building a case against them, trying them, convicting them, and putting them away for a long time.
Naaaaaahh!

4. Blaming this on Bush and Blair is NOT jumping to conclusions |
|
It's fact, plain and simple. Their illegal war has brought this on and I for one have no intention of "playing nice" any more.

6. It depends on who did it |
|
As I said, analyists on CBC are saying that it shows signs of a well coordinated but amature attack, they said it does not seem professional enough to be Al Queda. By all means when there are more facts react however you feel inclined to. I'm not playing nice, I'm simply not going to employ the tactics and mindset of the neocons and sheeple.

5. BBC has rational coverage of this..I'm listening now..and it's |
|
very different from MSNBC (Pump It Up/Cheerleading Terror) or CNN pretty much the same reporting gore and terror fear.
BBC is reporting background and talking to many people who are discussing it with eyewitnesses who are calmly describing what happened and what might happen with the investigation.
