Will Joe Six Pack Look at the London Bombings
And realize that nothing Bush/Blair has done has made the world safer?

The war has not discouraged or weakened terrorists, but only inflamed and emboldened the terrorists.

Even though Sadamm (Osama's 9/11 co-conspirator) is in prison, that terrorists can still act.

That occupying sovereign nations, destroying their homes, killing their children will only fan the flames of terror.

OR

Will Joe see the bombings as further evidence that we need to prosecute this war as long and as bloody as necessary.

No matter what awful things happen, the Bush and Blair governments will simply claim that things would be much worse had the US and the UK not invaded and occupied Iraq. And Joe Six Pack will believe them. He believes everything authority tells him.

I'm talking about a serious response.

Not just a speech. But a bombing.

If this happened here...we'd be planning our response.

Action.

5. Joe Sixpack is at Home Depot right now,
with Mrs. Joe, and they are stocking up on plastic sheeting and duct tape. They will be sufficiently "terrified" not ot ask questions again for a good, long time.

Next stop: The grocery store for canned goods and bottled water.

They have all been too busy watching American Idol to be informed enough not to be "terrified" right now. nThe Bushies know it, and they will exploit it.

8. Joe Sixpack will be pissed that coverage
of the bombings will preempt some moronic reality show he'd like to watch.

9. Your guess is as good as mine
We shouldn't be surprised by this. We knew before the first missiles where fired over Baghdad that at the very most invading Iraq would have no effect on the war on terrorism and would probably be counterproductive.

Mr. Bush and his neoconservative aides have not directed an honest war on terrorism. They used the September 11 attacks to fulfill a long held wet dream and invade a sovereign state which they knew had nothing to do with the attacks and did not pose a serious threat to anyone. To do so, they lied to the people all over the world, the American people in particular, to Congress and to the United Nations; furthermore, they redeployed troops and resources from Afghanistan, where the terrorists responsible for attacking America were, to Iraq, where what terrorist there were had been ineffective. Meanwhile, al Qaida and its allies regrouped in Afghanistan. This is not the first terrorist attack to take place since the invasion of Iraq.

Al Qaida remains a primary threat to our safety. The criminal incompetence of the Bush regime remains a secondary threat. That will be true regardless of what public opinion polls will show in the next few weeks.

11. Both!
They'll be disgusted with Bush for pursuing nation building and will demand that we wipe out the terrorists immediately.
