They keep saying that people have become complacent then |
|
they mention 911 and todays attacks. They say it like people's sense of complaceny (not as scared as they used to be)brought on the attacks. It sounds like they are trying to keep people in line by fear mongering. Was that the motive behind the attack? If so whose was it?

1. Complacent meaning accepted the lies for the Iraq invasion? |
|
Accepted Mr.bush's excuses for all the crap his administration is doing? Accepted that things are just too complicated to understand, so left it to the politicians? Accepted the lie that the world is a safer place by attacking and killing people? That's the only complacency I see tieing into this sort of attacks.

question authority, with W's low poll numbers and the general feeling of wanting to getof Iraq now. The media was on a very limited scale starting to cover eal issues like the Plame thing. Then...BOOM, everyone is terrified of terror again an no longer questioning anything, the are to busy being afraid to worry bout anyting and they now will continue to toe the Administration line.
