He was SURE he'd retire today ... and as of noon CST, no announcement yet!

Could it be that The Douchebag of Liberty was at his douchebaggiest?!?!

Huh.

1. It's possible...
..yesterday's events put the announcement on the back burner.

2. Perhaps the jackals are turning on Nofacts - once he started to
bleed they want to suck out his blood and kill him off. Several young shitheads want to take his place inside the power structure. Maybe the powers that be have decided to make him look foolish, spin him, take him down. He is a lightning rod of embarrasment for the wingnuts. Rank and file staffers have always despised him.

3. Maybe its an "after 6" announcement
Washington often holds 'ugly' announcements till after 6:00 p.m. on Fridays so it doesn't hit the airwaves till the weekend. Likewise, Saturday newspaper readership is much lower than during the week.

Don't know what/why this supposed announcement would be an 'after 6'. I'm just speculating.

4. I think the Bushies will save it for next week...
to counter Rove's supposedly coming endictment.

Usually nothing huge is announced on a Friday. I think, if it's coming, it will happen next week, probably on the same day as the Rove endictment, should there be one.

Just an opinion.
