There could be a few worse nominees -- Zell Miller, maybe Joe Biden; but I can't get even slightly fired up about Ms. Clinton. Not at all.

I have decided that I cannot support somebody or anybody that gave Bush the green light to invade Iraq nor can I support anybody who insists on keeping our young men and women in Iraq by fighting a "smarter war". Forget it. Ain't gonna work on me this time!

18. At this point, we don't need any appeasers of Republicans |
|
We need someone who has a strong alternative vision, something who will INSPIRE the electorate with a simply stated platform that clearly contains benefits for ordinary people.
As long as we keep running candidates whose main claim seems to be, "You've heard of me, I'm not 'too liberal,' I'm 'pro-business,' and I'll go along with the Republicans much of the time except when they're really excessively nasty," we'll keep losing.

33. Not at all until she publicly states that the war is wrong and calls for |
|
a real investigation into 9-11. She is too much of a warmonger. Anyone who hasn't the courage now to state the war was unjustified and demand its end is a participant in the crime. And I'm not talking about those wishy-washy wimps who complain that the war was run badly. It was WRONG, both morally and legally.

36. Zero. It's always been a bunch of right wing nonsense that she's running |
|
for President.
She's never ran. She's never said she was running.
They do it to paint her as power mad, and to take away from her accomplishments.
She is the right wing media machine's bogey to which they've dedicated much of their behavioral conditioning.
We've got to be on making the case for her in the 2006 Senate race against Rudy.
The GOP/RNC are planning on building their national 06 strategy around the Hillary verses Rudy race for the Senate.

I especially love Hillary Clinton, Wesley Clark, Dennis Kucinich, John Kerry and John Edwards. See, Democrats are groovey (ok, that dates me), but my point is made, I hope.
Please, please, don't tear down Hillary. She is our brightest hope right now in so many ways. It stands to reason that they will all be discussed and discussed and discussed and discussed. I hope we can do it with dignity. After all, our party is inclusive and better than theirs, right??

If Senator Clinton is coronated as the nominee by Democratic Party elitists and the MSM, I would definitely take a look at the Green, Libertarian, and Natural Law candidates, as well as anyone who might be running as a pure Independent (but NOT Nader!!!)
And I honestly can't say that about many Democratic candidates right now. People such as Clark, Warner, Edwards, and Richardson aren't my first-choices, but I would vote for any of them in a heartbeat for the General Election.
I'll also be living in California, so it's not like my piddly little vote will tilt California's 55 electoral votes AWAY FROM Hillary.

|
Like Kerry, she supported the Iraq War. She has also been sounding somewhat slightly conservtive lately in regards to issues like Abortion and Iraq. I am tired of these people getting "coronated" by members of the DLC. The Democratic Party blew it BLEW IT when Kerry was nominated! It is just as bad as Bush getting selected by the Supreme Court. The Democratic Party needs a serious overhaul. I only hope Howard Dean and the millions of supporters he has (I am one of them!) can achieve this before 2006.
