to two candidates, it is going to be Clark & Dean. And in my opinion this is a win win situation for our party. One of not both of these two men is what I think our party is missing & what it needs.

Clark has his strengths in the military, Dean has his strengths as a Governor. Either one would be a great President with the other as the Vice President.

Kerry is part of the establishment that I think the party doesn't care for anymore.

I like Edwards allot, but he just seems unpolished & not ready for the job.

Lieberman's time has come & gone.

Sharpton will make somebody a great Press Secretary.

I just don't know much about Kucinich & I will bet the average American knows even less than me.

I have not tried to flame anyone here just giving my honest opinion on how I feel about the candidates that are running.

5. Edwards is very strong
Kerry is a fighter. We shouldn't underestimate either of them.

6. Pick any two.
I'll take any combination of Kerry, Edwards, Clark, and Dean. By my count that's twelve possible combinations and any of them would be acceptable to me.

However, I'll go out on a limb and predict that when the winner emerges from this group of four, he'll pick someone completely outside this group as V.P.

here's my take from talking with the average joes/josies on the streets of portsmouth...

many DON'T like Kerry, they know him from Mass., and don't particularly like him. Someone close to the campaign said on camera he is great, but off camera he barks orders at people; but then someone else worked for him in the Senate and said he is wonderful. Toss up.

Alot of independent voters LIKE Lieberman or Clark. Clark is still packing venues up here, don't believe the sh*t in the newspapers. The press needs a story, so they are latching onto this *skewer* Clark meme.

Dean's support has definitely fallen off. I heard a poor, cold young lady working for Dean today, carrying boxes of videotapes to a car, in below zero temps; saying, "this is NOT what I want to do with the rest of my life!" We have heard that the Clark, Kerry, Edwards supporters are having fun up here, but the Dean people have been worked to death and are getting kind of cranky.

So there you have it from the streets of Portsmouth.

10. Worked to death? Dean volunteers are dreaming they were in N. H.
Im one of them. Id like to see this poor women you speak of on camera or on the record, instead of hearing some third party negative gossip here at DU.
