Reading on ROVE - For those who believe - and even those who don't...
Okay - I know this belongs in Astrology (and it's there, check out the comments) but I thought GDPOLY might get a kick out of it...

READING- Prediction
DATE – 7-8-05
SUBJECT – Rove (Plame, Jail?) (DU VERSION)

CARDS 1, 2, 3. PRESENT ENVIRONMENT

1) The Emperor (R) – Loss of control. Serious injury in battle. Emotional immaturity and bondage to parents. Possibility of being defrauded of one’s inheritance.
Take a good look at the situation and face up to it’s realities. (REALITY – we are gonna take you down! ) This card may also represent a benevolent or compassionate person, perhaps a parent or authority figure, who is sympathetic to you but unable to help. You must rely only on yourself to see the way through the situation. (they will abandon him to us wolves!)

2) Knight of Cups (R ) – Sensual, idle, untruthful. Swindling, trickery, fraud. Propositions should be carefully looked into.
He is a swindler and a cheat, an unreliable person who may be the bearer of some fraud or unsound proposition. (sounds like Rover to me)
3) The Chariot (R ) – Decadent desires, possibility of ill health, restlessness and desire for change, an unethical victory. (the election?)
Disputes, quarrels or litigation leave you restless and desiring a change. Be prepared for bad news or a setback in a long struggle.

CARDS 4, 5, 6. ELEMENTS OF THE QUESTION

4) The Magician – Will, mastery, organizational skills, creative talents. The ability to take the power from above and direct it through desire into manifestation. (that’s what he has been doing for years – using BushCo’s power, he had none of his own)
He is a man of willpower and competency. Use your will to seize opportunities and create your destiny. The tools are at hand to achieve your goal. And with practice and concentration success is guaranteed. Risks and investments bring great rewards. An exciting new venture or friendship may be in store, or if in the past, still continuing successfully. This card also indicates good health and recovery from any present illness. (that would suck. I think this means he has the potential to win, if we let up. See below. Never give up!)

5) The Fool (R ) – Folly, indiscretion, thoughtless action. The choice is likely to be faulty. (hmm, outing Plame was a bad idea…. Hee hee )
This card indicates an indiscretion or unwise action. Inattention to details, hesitation or apathy can lead to trouble. Discipline and action are needed, despite the unpleasantness of the task.

6) The Hermit (R ) – Refusal to listen to wisdom. Immaturity, foolish vices. Rejection of maturity; the tendency to be a perpetual Peter Pan.
Bureaucracy and indecision result in delay and inactivity. Take charge of the situation and act without further discussion or hesitation. (Scrambling to cover his butt now, isn’t he?)

CARDS 7, 8, 9. OBSTICLES TO BE SURMOUNTED / HOW SURMOUNTED

7) Four of Swords – Hermit’s repose. Rest after war. Banishment. (like that one!) Relaxation of anxiety, release from suffering. There will soon be a change for the better. Not a card of death. (darn)
THIS CARD INDICATES THE NEED FOR MEDICATION. (lol!) Take time out to give your mind a much-needed rest from the noise of everyday life. Replenish your inner strength and end your weariness by taking time to sort things out alone. (This is where we come in – NO REST, NO REPRIEVE! DO NOT LET UP FOR A MINUTE. GIVE HIM NO TIME TO ‘SORT THINGS OUT’)

8) Six of Wands (R ) – Rewards are delayed. Insolence of the victorious. Watch for successful enemy. (that would be us again)
Beware of treachery and disloyalty among friends, (see also – ‘double-dealing’ below) for this card indicates that rewards are delayed in the face of strife.

9) Two of Cups – Harmony of the masculine and the feminine. Reciprocity, the beginning of a friendship or love affair. Balance of ideas and plans with a kindred soul.
Passions and emotions run high as you approach what you have your heart set upon. This card denotes a strong union between you and another person in new love or friendship. (Because this in under OBSTACLES – it may refer to the joining of Reps. and Dems. to take him out)

CARDS 10, 11, 12. WHAT WILL COME UNBIDDEN

10) King of Swords (R ) – Distrustful, suspicious. Also harsh and malicious. Plotting, barbarity, power for disruption are revealed. (REVEALED, whoo whoo!)
He is a barbarian, harsh, violent, and cruel. Trusting no-one, he uses evil and wickedness to achieve his power. This card warns of bad intentions, deceptions, disruptions, plots and machinations.

11) Nine of Wands (R ) – Weakness, ill health, adversity, displeasure.
This card warns of obstacles and struggles that are difficult to overcome. Take the time to strengthen yourself both mentally and physically and prepare to defend yourself against possible adversity. (AGAIN- DO NOT LET UP- DO NOT LET HIM CATCH HIS BREATH)

12) King of Cups (R) – A powerful man, but likely to be crafty and violent. A fierce nature under a calm exterior. Double dealing. Beware of being robbed of either virtue or money.
He is a crafty scoundrel, a powerful man who hides his violent nature beneath a calm exterior. This card may also represent a man with light-brown hair and hazel eyes. ( I have no idea what color his eyes are)

CARDS 13, 14, 15. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO ACHIEVE
Queen of Swords – This card may mean widowhood, mourning, privation. Kindness but also firmness. Keen observation.
She is a severe and chaste widow, keen and subtle, kind but firm. This card warns of privation, absence and sadness. This card may also indicate a woman with brown eyes and brown hair.

14) Page of Cups (R ) – Little desire to create. Dilettantism. Good taste. Seduction. A deception may soon be uncovered. (again – Whoo – whoo! ) Obstacles. Unpleasant news.
This youth practices deception and seduction and has little desire for real work. This card may indicate an unfaithful lover or potential obstacles.

15) King of Wands – Handsome and passionate, he is agile in mind and body. A country gentleman, generally married. Loyal and noble, he comes of good family. Sometimes he is too hasty. If no man seems to be involved in the spread of the cards, you will find these traits: honesty, friendliness, passion. The card may mean unexpected heritage; a good marriage.
This card may also signify a man with blond or red hair and blue eyes.
(This card has me completely baffled…any ideas?)
