Even if Rove is not indicted, this is a scandal of epic |
|
proportions. The coordinated personal attack on someone who has served her country with distinction in an extremely sensitive and crucial area ought to be enough to get Rove and his accomplices fired and discredited. That will not happen if we rely on the MSM to push the case forward and lay out for the American people why this action was immoral, un American and detrimental to the national interest. Part of the reason Rove released Cooper is that he is confident the media will swallow his line and the story will die. These people stole at least one and maybe two Presidential Elections in broad daylight. They are shameless and will just stare the press down unless Democrats keep the pressure on. This will be the moment of truth for our elected officials. I pray that they are up to the challenge.

4. You are absoloutely right |

This can't be turned into an issue on wording and semantics. The Democrats must pursue the issues that Plamegate is bringing to light.....finally. This is bound to get big, public pressure is key.
I know there are a few others but where would we be without Conyers and Dean. Do they speak? That would be quite the ticket. If Conyers plays his cards right...........
When I try and imagine what would turn things around for the administration......... I get scared.

5. The most significant aspect of the scandal |
|
is that the purported chief executive has (at best) sat and twiddled his thumbs while an operative of his government dealing with weapons of mass destruction has been outed. Of course that's par for the course, for example he has done nothing to reveal or apprehend those responsible for the use of such weapons (weaponized anthrax) on the citizens of his own country or bring to justice (dead or alive) the leader of the gang that attacked this country four years ago. It's a pattern of malfeasance in office unmatched since Nero fiddled.

the only thing presidential that he actually does is practice his speeches(the most time consuming), give speeches and meet a few dignitaries.

11. He's lazy and enjoys his sleep but he can be very busy |
|
doing what he likes. I recommend Mark Crispin Miller's The Bush Dyslexicon for the best picture of the man. The damage that he is doing to the country (and the world) is staggering. Make no mistake about it, he is responsible. He has always been political with a special interest bias, and everything, and I mean everything, he does is evaluated for political impact. That is why Rove is such an dominant and important figure. The little emperor and his lackey should never be underestimated, however. * is arrogantly ignorant, intellectually lazy, and crude-- but not dumb.

9. You are exactly right. We have to play a major role |
|
in helping our leaders to see that there is a constituency that will demand action on this matter. BTW, Semper Fi. My Dad was in the Corps. during WWII.

12. And of course, Clinton was covering up a sexual affair |
|
with another woman On the other hand Rove and his band of thugs is practicing the politics of personal destruction against a woman whose crime was to be married to a man of integrity who pointed out one, but only one, of the lies told by the rat bastards who lied us into an unnecessary and brutal war. The MSM will surely see this as moral equivalence.
