I rarely go to Daily Kos because it's usually Dem Circular Firing Squad |
|
Plenty of Kerry bashing happens there, plenty of everyone except Dean bashing happens...gee I wonder why...
Kos has been disturbingly boring and generic in his "assessments" about anything political. His diatribe reminds me of the vanilla, semi-clueless political analysis of Jerry Springer on Air America. Nauseatingly predictability peppered with a fair amount of narcisstic self-importance...
Many more online do a much better job with politically analyzing the topics du jour than Kos.
My hats off go to John Nichols (Nation/Madison Cap Times/others) among others that can and prove a lot more intelligent analysis that Kos ever could.
Who cares if Kos wants to censor ideas about the various possibilities with the London 7-7 bombing. It's meaningless... Some of us are more open-minded to the collusion that Blair and Bush have done in the past and cutting off dialogue about it wreaks of clubish clique-driven myopia.
Kos who?

I am Sean Hannity. Becasue I mock the excrable notion that Blair and Buhs -- and literally hundreds of people in their respective governments-- caused the London bombings I am a right winger.
Right.
Look, kid, the world is not a fucking Tom Clancy novel. Oswald acted alone, there are no grey aliens waiting to swoop down and probe your anus,Atlantis was a fucking kids story, the UN does not have concentration campis in Idaho, and the people who commited the terrorist acts are, you know, the terrorists.
You have two choices in this life -- you can either try to do something worthwhile, or you can wallow in fantasy. It is obvious which choice you have made. And that's fine. But don't expect me to treat it iwth respect when it gets in the way of people doing the hard work of actually dealing with and trying to affect the real world.
And watch out behind you -- I hear the Black Helicopters can operate in stealth mode ....

Yes, actually, I know all about PNAC.
See, though, your problem is that you have apparently made the jump from "public organization that thinks American interests demand a kind of militaryily enforced Pax Americanna" to "public organization that is secretly comitting terrorist acts!" without any, you know, evidence and stuff.
LIsten to yourself -- you are actually arguing that it is plausible that Bush and Blair carried off a major terrorist attack without anyone leaking -- that literally hundreds of people in two governments aquiesced to the murder of their fellow citizens and that they did it so well that none of the dozens to hundreds of police have had a single clue about it in the half week since.
Or is all of British intelligence and the London police in on it too?
And you based all of this on, what, exactly? PNAC? A public group of militaristic foreign policy losers? That's your evidence?

26. I'm not saying anything about the theory...I'm suggesting that... |
|
..Kos is full of shit to think that any discussion about WHATEVER theory that Bush and Blair may have ANY importance outside the myopic, self-important World that Kos generates.
As for PNAC, that wasn't in my mind in regards to the London bombings...but I sure would believe it if it was and was provable...
Does Kos have some inside information that precludes any discussion about the 7-7 bombings? Is he embarrassed that some of his blogsters might come up with theories that might make him babble incoherently on one of the MSM pundit claptrap shows?
It's almmost a cheap publicity stunt that Kos is trying to pull off...
I mentioned PNAC if only for the fact that people like Sean Hannity pull out the "oooh, black helicopters...." schtick when anyone mentions it on those pathetic shows.
Kos is playing right out of the Hannity playbook...and thinking what he says means anything in the full scheme of things...

5. I rarely feel the need... |
|
...to tell everyone what I DON'T read.
It's usually more interesting and informative to discuss what I find interesting enough to read.
If you don't read Kos, fine. But how odd that you feel that this decision is somehow news worth posting.

It's like the guy really has any pull. He's a self-important ass in mosr cases. He's proven many times to be a sour grapes Deandroid who can't seem to get over the 2004 primary results. Christ, he's a paid Dean shill.
Give me someone like John Nichols...it's good stuff without the crybaby bullshit.

I would suggest that unless you have any actual evidence of him bieng a paid Dean shill that you retract that statement.

You seem to be having some problems with the concepts of evidence.
First, note that Kos disclosed the small amount of work that he did for the Dean campaign as he did it.
Second, your accusation is that Kos is a paid Dean shill. Now, in case you did not now this, Dean as a candiate ad to discolse who his money went to, the DNC has to disclose who it hires. So if Kos is a paid Dean shill -- and please not the present tense -- you are accusing Dean and or the DNC of violating the law.
So, I ask you again: do you have anything resembling evidence for this accusation, or is it just slander?

As for Howard, I want nothing more that having him be as successful as possible...especially with the determination and efforts we all need from everyone for the 2006 races.
