I saw that clip posted the other day, and it really got me thinking that it was more MIHOP than LIHOP.

4. I think LIHOP is gentle way to ease into MIHOP

Most people start from the notion that any kind of complicity whatsoever is utterly unthinkable.

That's where I started. If someone had just started rambling about MIHOP, I'd have dismissed them as a crank. It took a very careful, conservative, systematic presentation of the evidence, rigorously sourced from mainstream media (The New Pearl Harbor by David Ray Griffin) to force me to swallow than pain in my stomach, overcome the vertigo, and face SOME form of LIHOP as the only thing that made sense of the evidence.

After I became utterly convinced of LIHOP, further examination of the evidence convinced me that it was very likely that there was some degree of MIHOP.

i just spent about 1.5 hours there looking around, mexico balcony deaths and his son tim who died, of course the franklin cover-up that andy did so many posts about (i remember spending an entire day with that several months ago!), and the pentagon small plane & missile business.

whew! i came off there with my mind reeling (again).
but that's not why i am posting this to you.

the reason i'm posting is in response to what you just wrote: "Most people start from the notion that any kind of complicity whatsoever is utterly unthinkable." and i wanted to tell you--a few weeks ago i was talking to a friend of mine, my best friend actually--to whom i speak with fairly frequently (couple times a week) and we were talking politics again. and whatever we talked about...one thing led to another and he said it sounded as if i'm blaming the gop for what happened on 9/11. i said i thought it was entirely possible and he was so taken aback--so astounded--.

i asked him: "didn't i ever tell you that before?" "no." "oh, well, i've certainly implied it--i guess i just thought you understood what i meant. yes, i think it is possible that they either let it happen or made it happen. on purpose."

well....i guess his blood ran a bit cold. he told me that he can't even go there, he was shocked, stunned, horrified, had never considered such a thing, had never even heard anyone else consider such a thing. i said to him: "you're kidding?" but no. this entire concept had never gone through his brain--he had never heard of such a thing. i told him there were a lot of people who thought along this line with me. he found it hard to believe. i assured him it was true.

so i said to him: "well, maybe now you can understand a little better why i'm so angry--because i think it *is* possible. and we don't have to talk about it. now you know about the idea, it's out there--and you can take your time with it."

nao--it was just as you said: "Most people start from the notion that any kind of complicity whatsoever is utterly unthinkable." now, i don't recall how i first came upon it for myself and what i was feeling, but i heard my friend (on the phone) after having this conversation and it was the sound of astonishment, anger (for feeling he had to defend this administration he deplores for my seeming lapse into insanity), and fear.

and after that we didn't talk for over two weeks. and when we did--we never mentioned it.
