An interesting interview with Ambassador Wilson....
"BuzzFlash: There are at least three dimensions to the outing of your wife as a CIA operative: legal, national security and moral. Let's put aside the swirling legal issues, for a moment, and start with the national security issue of what happened in the summer of 2003. "Two senior administration officials" confirmed to columnist Robert Novak in the summer of 2003 that your wife was a CIA operative. She was working undercover, tracking the trade in weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), including illicit trafficking. The Bush Administration had told the American people that we were attacking Iraq because Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and we needed protection from him. Here's the question: Whatever the legal issues, isn't this a prima facie betrayal of the national security interests of the United States, to "out" your wife, who was working to protect us from weapons of mass destruction, at a time that the White House was launching a war allegedly to prevent the use of weapons of mass destruction that didn't even exist?

Ambassador Wilson: The question of whether the outing of Valerie was a betrayal of our national interests is precisely what the special counsel, Pat Fitzgerald, is trying to ascertain. I have great confidence in his commitment and professionalism. It should be clear that the CIA would not have referred the case to Justice, if it had not believed a crime was committed."

I can't understand why people aren't screaming louder about this ethics involved in this case. But I suppose BushCo doesn't have any ethics, so ...

1. Ethics be damned! It was a treasonous,
criminal thing to do. It put this country in jeopardy because it shut down our eyes and ears on the buying and selling of illegal nuclear materials. Not just your run of the mill weapons of mass destruction, but nuclear weapons of mass destruction. The people who did this should be drawn and quartered, but since we are a civilized nation, they will be imprisoned until that thing we call a president pardons them. Unless the charge is treason in which case I don't know if they can be pardoned.

4. Have you read the stupid freeper posts on this?
They're like 'ho hum - he didn't do anything. WILSON IS A TRAITOR!'

Obviously, Freepers are on crack. We must overcome public apathy to get the message across that the public interest was seriously affected by what the Bush Administration did.

Scream louder - to everyone.

2. selective enforcement, not unaccountability
Bush is beholden to his benefactors. When he or any other federal representative fails them, he is called into account by means of selective enforcement, no different from any other federal representative. Yet the fact remains that he is indeed unaccountable to the people of the United States at large, and the sad fact is that all federal representatives will forever remain so.

The exposure of high-level corruption is almost never altruistic in nature.

3. Hey
:hi: its sad to see all this happening. The Republican party has been led so far astray that l serious doubt they know the way back.
"Walk not the path of darkness for one will surely get lost"
It is clear that if the Repub elected representatives does not make a stand then the US is past salvation.

As for the Democrats elected representatives  they cant even find a leader among themself and are still figuring who to lead.

As to the people of US ..... total brainwashed to fight over needless issue while the country is systematically and totally brought to its ultimate ruin.

Yes sir, US will be a nation of the HAS IT and the DON'T HAS IT. Join the Army, Conquer the world, spread Freedom Liberty Democracy.
When you finally done all that. Tell me what you see.
