There is no downside to criticizing the media. They are not going to stop giving you positive coverage and start criticizing you if you attack them. The media is a strange beast. When you criticize them, they automatically start their navel gazing. The Repubs were so successful at it for years. Unfortunately for us, the Repubs don't have to criticize them as much anymore because they are as happy as hell with most of the coverage they get from the media.

Democrats need to start criticizing shows like Russert's MTP, FOX-TV, Chris Matthews'Show, etc. There are an unlimited number of targets.
