I still dont think anything is going to happen to Karl Rove short of him confessing, but do you think Rehnquist is holding back on his retirement announcement incase things get to hot and heavy with Karl Rove? His last final action to help the right wing..
Pay not attention to Karl Rove, im going to retire!
Also watch for Stevens retirement rumors start floating again too.

Bob Nofacts broke the story last week and the silence has been curious.

3. Rehnquist is not like that. |
|
The CJ is a traditional, judicial conservative. I don't think he gives a shit about the modern right wing. He ain't no Scaliathomas.

4. My dad thinks that Rehnquist is pissed as hell at Bush |
|
Bush always says that he wants to appoint somebody in the mold of "Scalia/Thomas" but he never mentions Rehnquist, implying that he isn't conservative enough for Bush. My dad's theory is that he'll retire after the next term so that Bush won't be able to fill the vacancy because it's an election year and he'll have to wait until after the midterms.
