Note that the one likely REAL reason for high gas prices wasn't even on the poll: increasing world petroleum demand and decreasing world petroleum supply. People wnat someone to blame for this-- look in the mirror, especially the mirror in your car. Maintaining the American lifestyle consumes a hugely disproportionate share of the world's oil supply-- the rest of the world is catching up and wants a taste, too.
