From June 3, 2004 - Bush knew about leak of CIA Operative's Name
http://www.capitolhillblue.com/cgi-bin/artman/exec/view.cgi?archive=32&num=4629

Witnesses told a federal grand jury President George W. Bush knew about, and took no action to stop, the release of a covert CIA operative's name to a journalist in an attempt to discredit her husband, a critic of administration policy in Iraq.

Their damning testimony has prompted Bush to contact an outside lawyer for legal advice because evidence increasingly points to his involvement in the leak of covert CIA operative Valerie Plame's name to syndicated columnist Robert Novak.

The move suggests the president anticipates being questioned by prosecutors. Sources say grand jury witnesses have implicated the President and his top advisor, Karl Rove.

6. I believe I put the date in the subject line. The POINT is this ...
It fingers Bush and Rove. And we now know about Rove.

I might add that the Capitol Hill Blue site is run by disgruntled Republicans in DC, from what I've heard. They were very accurate in reporting during the 2004 campaign.

If they are right about this -- and the article does seem prescient -- well, Whoa, Betsy!

OK. It's becoming like a Denny's Menu. Which platter would you like? Today's special is "Being a participant committing treason by outing a CIA agent"...pretzels or fries...

Take your time.

We also have "Lying to Congress about going to War". That comes with the blood of an American soldier.

Then the "Downing Street Memo". It's fishy with some chips. Very slippery and shaped like a smoking gun.

Perhaps the "Authorizing torture of POW's" platter. It comes with a torn Koran that has been shit on by an "enemy combatant" that was picked up in Afghanistan for money paid to warlords.

I personally enjoy the "Secret Service Harassment and Intimidation Interview" souffle where Bush used the Secret Service to screen and intimidate and jail people who may have wanted to attend 2004 Presidential campaign events, paid for on the taxpayers' dime.
