Is "Benedict" Karl Bush's "Ollie North"?

My fear with all the heat and build-up on Rove is that he will be the sacrificial turd for Bush, when Bush, and the entire Administration at that, need to REMAIN THE FOCUS of Plamegate and Downinggate.

These two scandals are tied together, just like the Iran-Contra scandal was originally two scandals that became tied together.

And we know that, while Rove may be Bush's Brain, this does not remove Bush or anyone else in the Administration from culpibility of treasonous or criminal acts.

Could the recent unleasing of the media be the first stage of the sacrifice? Why did the WH Press Corps suddenly activate? Is Rove now upon the sacrficial alter, waiting for his ultimate demise so that Bush can ressurect him with a pardon.

This outcome, at least to me, is becoming clearer every day. Republicans are starting to walk away from Rove, but not from the Administration. The stink is blowing in the wind for the fall-guy. Maybe it won't even be Rove (possibly Powell with the recent revelation that he took Plame's dossier to Africa), but ultimately, if it does come to fruition, that means after Plamegate, we go on with the crap this administration has to dish out to America.

And DSM will be quietly forgotten, left for us DUers to try to ressurect. But unfortunately, we won't have the media's support (case closed perception or worse, yet, orders from the WH not to cover it).

fear of shrub not getting reelected, and fear of the inside press-lapdogs losing their jobs, and fear spread to influence american people to vote bush.
