I don't want Rove fired/resign...I want him CONVICTED and SENTENCED

One thing that I hope does NOT come out of the whole Plamegate affair is that Karl Rove resigns, or is fired, and that is the end of it.

If resigning or being fired would end the investigation or relieve some of the pressure, and public outcry, then I WANT Rove to stay in office.

Every day he is there it tarnishes Bush and all his other cronies more and more. Every day Rove continues with the Bush administration, the Evangelical Christians are reminded of what a corrupt, lying, traitor they were manipulated by to re-elect Bush.

And I would much rather see Rove convinced of treason and other crimes, and be given the harshest, maximum sentences for whatever he is convicted of, than to just see him 'quit' and go home.

It would do more damage to the Bush Administration and the Republican Party for Rove to be convicted of treason and sentenced WHILE serving as Chief White House Adviser.

To let him quietly resign and know that he has accomplished what he has set out to accomplish - the domination of the Republican Party for the next 20 -40 years - would be a tragically weak outcome of this scandal.

5. It would be better if Rove resigns after he was convicted

Better yet if gw*dipshit doesn't fire Rove and continues to support Rove and says he was railroaded.

3. Firing does not exclude a conviction. The reason firing is called for

is to throw fuel on the STORY. Everyone knows Bush is intransigent and never admits mistakes or wrongdoings. He won't fire Rove or take a resignation.
