Sorry if a dupe - did anyone else see Kerry on FAUX today?
Being interviewed by Chris Wallace. Kerry is not my first choice, I admit, but I would gladly back him as the nominee. However, in just the little bit of the interview I saw, Kerry looked terrible. He had to ask Wallace to repeat some questions after going off on a sidetrack. He talked about "the president" trying to drive a wedge between people on the gay marriage issue, in the context of his (Kerry's) vote against the DoMA. Wallace noted the president at that time was Clinton. Oops. Kerry also said "I'm against marriage," thankfully Wallace clarified for him saying "you mean gay marriage?"

Ugh, it was not a nice scene. I've seen the FAUX talking heads savage an unprepared Democrat before, but Kerry was tripping over his own feet.

4. My point is, I am uneasy with Kerry's performance.
If he's like that in a debate, he could lose, even to Bush*.

Nerves are raw in this forum, I totally understand.

I just want to get rid of *. I don't care how, I just want the best candidate we can field up there against him because the RNC and the powers that be are gonna launch everything they have to keep the monkey king on the throne.

13. Yeah...that's why it's silly for us to get bent out of shape over
any little thing the media blows up.

We should be wary of the media not hanging on their every word.

3. I think the 60 minutes interview just trumped Faux
But if you're a liberal and you're going to bomb somewhere, it better be Faux because the talking heads will trash you no matter how you did, and the viewers will never vote for you in the first place.

5. No. Kerry was referring to Bush's speech at SOTU when he said that
and was relating it to the Congress at the time of DOMA.

Wallace was interrupting before Kerry could finish.

6. That may not have been Kerry's fault.
But it was a confusing exchange, to be sure.

12. Yes, I thought

he did great even though Chris Wallace kept interrupting him(what a little smug jerk).

As far as Kerry looking bad, I'm sure like all the other candidates, he's tired. They have been campaigning non-stop and it is bound to take it's toll.
