Its gotten out of hand
Instead of just bashing canidates, its gone to their wives. Not only is it stupid, but it is selfish and narrow-minded, and it has to stop. And most of it is directed at one or two people. Please put a stop to it.

1. I agree.
They should not be put through that. It is bad enough that we savagely attack each others candidates.

3. Remember when Judy Steinberg (Dean) was attacked for her looks
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, there is a lot of wailing and screaming.

A line was crossed in Iowa...

7. IG, I know you like Theresa Heinz and have defended her in
the past.

Way before anyone said a word about Judy.

In any case I think anything but positives said about the candidate's spouses is despicable.

2. And the Repubs are loving EVERY MINUTE of the fighting
Heck I even think they are the ones trying to fuel all the negative discussion.

They know it turns the voters off.

If we are going to have any chance at all to win then we have to be smarter then that.

We have to frame the debate in a positive mannor that makes Bush look bad. Now that shouldn't be too hard

5. I have only seen one thread about wives...
And my response is the same as now hand off! Candidates are another story now. And until Kerry learns that people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, he is fair game.

10. Hey, I signed a post a couple days ago saying that I would never
bash the wives.

Again, I will reiterate, AS A CLARK SUPPORTER, NO MATTER HOW DIRTY IT GETS, I WILL NEVER BASH A CANDIDATE'S WIFE. NO WAY.
