7. They needed a choice for "radical" or "fascist."
But since they didn't have those choices, I picked total conservative.

8. lol! 26% say Bush is a Liberal. In the WSJ poll
They must still be p.o.'d about his spending habits and the immigration thing. Bunch of disgruntled Conservatives.
Also not a good sign...

11. George Bush is not a conservative
George and his cabal are radicals. They have moved the idea of what a conservative so far to the right that they call someone just to the right of Barry Goldwater's ideas from 1962 a leftist.

18. I just voted 12 10:20 CST
But, hey, I saw the numbers. I think all of the candidates except for Clark and Kerry should immediately withdraw from the race. Not.

Elections are about persuading people. The real deal at the end of the day is people care more about domestic issues.

And any one of our candidates (including my own choice, Dean) have as much foreign policy experience as Bush or Reagan did the day they entered the White House.

19. lets look at those internals
2 in particular... (discounting the web voters)

In order to defeat Bush, how important is it that the Democratic candidate has served in the military?

Very important + Somewhat Important = 63%

In order to defeat Bush, how important is it that the Democratic candidate has foreign policy and national defense experience?

Very important + Somewhat Important = 92%

Look at that last one again... 92% feel the Democratic candidate must have foreign policy and national defense experience.

That leaves 2 candidates... Kerry and Clark.

24. puzzling
Why is it imp for the dem candidate to have served when bush didn't?

Why is it imp for the dem candidate to have foreign policy/national defense experience when bush had none before and has really screwed up both?

25. its not that puzzling
we're in a different world today than we were in 2000... the people want someone they will feel safe with.

if we dems want to win we have to field someone that will allay those fears.
