Well, the Rove thing sure has knocked the DSM story and everything |
|
else right out the headlines. Anyone else wonder whether or not the bush** administration figured that this was going to get some attention so why not milk it for everything it's worth and use it to take attention off the rest of their illegal, criminal, devious, and/or duplicitous behavior?

Someone must of have done a chart to connect all of the pieces of this corrupt gop party/admin/dynasty.

3. I think eventually.. it will bring it full circle |
|
The original story stated that there were two senior WH officials who peddaled this to journalists. If we can find out who those people were, I think it willb ring us full circle back to the DSMS

4. The DSM is directly connected to this |
|
When one asks 'Why would Rove expose a clandestine agent?', the answer is given by the Downing Street Memo -- to further the lie to take us into an illegal war.

5. I don't think so - it all dovetails quite nicely |

Plamegate is an outgrouth of DSM because it's about "fixing the facts" and punishing those who do not go along with the "fixed" facts. Outing Plame was retribution against Wilson for his editorial and I also think it was done as a not so subtle warning to others. It's looking to me like the WHIG is central to all of this unsavory activity and it seems like a co-ordinated effort to me. They need to get one of this group to turn on the others and sing like a canary.

6. Rove Lied to "Fix the Intelligence" around the Policy |
|
Wilson found out the Yellowcake story was bogus.
Rove exposed Plame and lied about Wilson.
DSM is not going away. . .it is all tied together.

7. Yes, and I'd bet $100 cash money that it was planned that way |
|
Rove is the designated Bad Guy. He's the one who can be sacked with fanfare...just as he was sacked by Bush One without it really meaning anything.
As I pointed out in my other post, he's the stick with which BushCo is fending off the public dog: get the dog to bite the stick, then seem to try to take it away, and most dogs will completely lose track of their original goal and fight for the meaningless stick instead.
So yes, I agree with you: it's a distraction. And working very well, too.

8. They'd better do it quickly, then... |
|
the more they try to keep silent about it, the more the pressure starts to build...people aren't going to be satisfied with just his firing if it doesn't happen quickly.
After all, reporters are starting to grow spines again. Who'd have thunk it? Can't let THAT continue...where would it END?

9. All of these things are a house of cards. |
|
When one card topples...the rest will come down too. In the past we have had to rely on the media or our dem leaders to topple our cards. John Conyers has certainly tried. This time we really don't need either. It's in the court system. A criminal investigation doesn't stop or fade away...it comes to a conclusion.

glad that Fitzgerald seems like a rabid truth seeker.

I don't think its useful to have a narrow view of the overall scope of the crimes committed by this administration.

13. The two fit nicely (or not so nicely) together however most here will |
|
connect the dots, not sure about the rest of the people who aren't paying enough attention. We need to get the Dems who represent us to point out the connections between Rovegate and DSM,loudly.
