Democrats in the House and Senate need to learn to stick together... |

Examples: When Dick Durbin was attacked viciously by several Repubs, not one Democrat stood up to say they're blowing it out of proportion and to point out that several Repubs had indeed used the "Nazi" word. Durbin was left to hang out there and defend himself all alone. Even if his words were not choice ones, the Repubs still took his words out of context and defined him as a Nazi sympathizer or some such rot.
Another example is the Hillary Clinton comment about Alfred E Neuman. Her comments were not that slanderous but the Repubs jumped all over her, because she is Hillary. But not one Democrat stood up to say, Hey, wait a minute, Hillary is being kind. Comparing Bush to Alfred E Neuman is hardly the cruelest comparison.
So, the Repubs don't like Bush compared to Nazis and they don't like Bush compared to Alfred E Neuman. So fucking what. Stand together Democrats and they cannot do the damage like they did to Dick Durbin.

They're going to sink or swim based on how united they are in some of the upcoming battles. The SCOTUS nomination will be a big one and Dems will lose if they unravel.
