Paul on the road to Damascus...
Do we believe that former enemies can seek redemption? I notice that someone posted a comment about what a good job David Gregory was doing asking questions about this Rove matter? Then someone else asked, where was he in the election of 2000 and 2004? No forgiveness. No redemption. Is that really what our Party stands for?

1. David Brock
He did a LOT of damage (getting Clarence Thomas on the court for who knows how many decades) but he's working hard now for our side.

5. It's fair to ask where he was on those stories, but a good idea to pat him
on the back when he's doing a good job.

I thought the Daily Show hit the perfect note on that when they aired footage including Gregory and John Gibson, and Jon Stewart came back from that joking, "We've secretly replace the WH Press Corps with real journalists, let's see if anyone can tell the difference."

7. I used to be a Republican...after Iran/Contra I started
changing, and now I'm about the most rabid, in-your-face liberal you could imagine.

People change...encourage them.

8. same here
was Repub out of high-school (family was all RW) but never voted straight-line GOP...voted for Jerry Brown for CA gov & supported environmental causes. Iran/Contra & general GOP insanity finally woke me up to reality...switched to Dem & have never looked back.
