This story is not going to go away as there is a Grand Jury Inquiry going on. Watergate wasn't topic number one when it happened and Nixon even got overwhelmingly re-elected in 1972.

By 1974, Nixon was forced to resign. Just because there are people who don't know about it todya, doesn't mean it won't grow. We are talking about harming the security interests of the USA and placing the need to carry out a political vendetta over these security concerns.
