Rovegate is the first major battle in the war to take back America

How this is fought is going to have a profound impact on '06 and '08.
It is clear from the ferocity and mendacity of the Republican response that they know how much trouble they're in and that the stakes could not be higher. We need our best spokespeople on the air to combat the lies. I watched Julian Epstein hand Michael Medved his head on the larry King Show. It was beautiful to see. The DNC has got to identify some key talking heads; track their lies; and provide the research to refute them. I refuse to believe that these jerks are smarter than us, but too often we are too polite to call a lie a lie.
The goal has to be at a minimum to get Rove fired and in doing so impress on the American people that the Republicans are dishonest, vicious and willing to damage our nation's security to keep power.
The facts are there to make the case persuasively. If indictments come, the job will be that much easier. If not the challenge will be greater, but to fold our tents while KR remains in the WH will severely cripple our efforts to win back the government.
