I imagine Smirky is eating Prozac out of a jumbo popcorn bucket about now.

2. Easy. You fire him, pardon him, and then make sure he gets
a GREAT cushy job somewhere making lots of $$ for doing nothing!

3. Or you make sure
he's Terri Schiavoed. Tragic accident, but he might recover, even though his brain is slowly turning to jelly. Until then, we'll keep him on the tubes.

4. He's counted on his brain his whole political career.......I think
he's in big trouble if Rove goes. The boyking is going to be mighty exposed, clothes-wise.

5. No. Even if Karl is fired, he still has a telephone.
What makes you think just because he wouldn't have an office, he couldn't still pull all the strings?

The advantage to the Dems would be the shame and scandal brought on the WH and what that would do to public opinion.

6. Well, that's true, but....
who knows what restrictions will be placed on Rove? Hell, he might not have phone privilages at Leavenworth.

More likely, Rove will be physically out of the loop. His preceived power will be extremely diminished. His security clearances for accummulating dirt on people will be gone. He just won't have the same authority if he's a discredited traitor. I guess he could still counsel W., but even that might be a political problem for Bush...would the public want their pResident taking advice from a felon?

8. The public wouldn't want their Pres taking advice from a felon, but
they wouldn't know! And having security clearance wouldn;t matter either. Sure, it would involve someone WITH clearance to give in info, but that wouldn't stop the inside group from using Rove's expertise at dirty pool.

7. Right. Karen Hughes "quit"...she's back in effect now.
Unless they put a restraining order on Rove, he'll be a part of Bush & Co.

to the core. Wonder if he was born bad-- like the little girl
in "The Bad Seed." Only much crazier.

I wonder why he's so f**ked up?? He embodies everything that's
ugly about human beings-- selfishness, greed, avarice, hatred,
anger, vengence, spite, hypocrisy, deception, and corruption.

Gives me the effing willies

12. Shrimp would crucify Rove in a heartbeat
if it meant saving his own butt. He has all the loyalty of maggot. Remember Tenet? And he doesn't have to win any more elections, either.

But I'm sure Rove is safe. Who's going to serve papers on him, Alberto Gonzalez?

14. If he's indicted, you pardon him that day. The reason? I can hear it now.
My fellow 'murcans, I've made a decision, in the interest of national security, (9-11) to pardon Karl Rove although he has not been convicted of anything and I continue to believe (9-11) in his innocence.
Karl is an integral part of the team (9-11) in the war on terror (sadaam) and it's vital to our nation that he remain onboard.

Thank you, good night, and God bless 'murca.

16. Well, they really can't use him now.
He did his job, they can afford to kick him to the curb.

There will be no selling Social Security and no way to paint a glorious photo op in Iraq anymore.
