Rove was fired from the Bush Campaign for leaking info to Bob Novak
Well, not today, but in 1992

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Rove

Work for Bush family

For the next few years, Rove worked in various Republican circles and assisted George H. W. Bush's 1980 vice-presidential campaign. Rove's greatest claim to fame at the time was that he had introduced Bush to Lee Atwater. A signature tactic of Rove was to attack an opponent on the opponent's strongest issue.

In 1981, Rove founded direct mail consulting firm, Karl Rove & Co., based out of Austin, Texas. This firm's first clients included Republican Governor Bill Clements and Democratic Congressman Phil Gramm, who later became a Republican Congressman and United States Senator. In 1993, Rove began advising George W. Bush's gubernatorial campaign. He continued, however, to operate his consulting business until 1999, when he sold the firm to focus his efforts on Bush's bid for the presidency.

In 1986, just before a crucial debate in the election for governor of Texas, Karl Rove announced that his office had been bugged by the Democrats. There was no evidence for this, and it was later discovered that he had bugged his own phone to garner media coverage. <3>

In 1992, Rove was fired from the Bush presidential re-election campaign for leaking information to journalist Robert Novak.

Rove Fired for Leak in '92

Just a quick entry as I haven't seen this covered. Rove was fired from the Bush-Quayle campaign for leaking to Novak.
"Karl Rove was fired from the 1992 re-election campaign of Bush Sr. for allegedly leaking a negative story about Bush loyalist/fundraiser Robert Mosbacher to Novak. Novak's piece described a meeting organized by then-Senator Phil Gramm at which Mosbacher was relieved of his duties as state campaign manager because "the president's re-election effort in Texas has been a bust." Rove was fired after Mosbacher fingered him as Novak's source." Story here: http://bustbob.com/view.asp?ID=5
Rove and Novak still deny it but nevertheless, seems pretty relevant.

3. Prior behavior
Can a history of prior behavior (such as the above) be used as evidence in a court of law if it's public knowledge, especially in print?

Just wondering (pre-java infusion).

4. There's certainly a pattern of deception.......
in Rove's past. It would be nice if the MSM pushed THIS story for a while. It might change a few minds about St. Karl's innocence in this matter.

7. That's a good point - why isn't the media talking about Rove's history
History does have a tendency to repeat itself and more and more it's looking like Rove-Novak is doing just that.

And I'll be the first to admit I had NO idea until I was reading wikipedia and saw that lil comment
