"Circle the wagons boys! The liberals are coming.."
Bush passed the word not too sublimininally that we should not "prejudge" and that we should not listen to all the bullshit that the "media" is putting out about Karl Rove. In effect, what he was doing, was drawing the lines. He was inviting his side to not give any quarter and that they were going to fight this to the end. That is the message his supporters will pick up from his comments. If you are not with them, you are the enemy.

1. Bush's Cunning Plan!
Blackrover: Bushrick, what are you doing out there?

Bushrick: I'm carving something on this bullet sir.

Blackrover: What are you carving?

Bushrick: I'm carving "Blackrover", sir.

Blackrover: Why?

Bushrick: It's a cunning plan actually.

Blackrover: Of course it is.

Bushrick: You see, you know the press has said that there's a bullet
with your name on it?

Blackrover: Yes?

Bushrick: Well, I thought if I owned the bullet with your name on it,
You'd never get hit by it, 'cos I won't ever shoot you!

Blackrover: Oh, shame.

Bushrick: And, the chances of there being two bullets with your name
on them are very small indeed.

Blackrover: That's not the only thing around here that's "very small
indeed". Your brain for example, is so minute, Bushrick,
that if a hungry cannibal cracked your head open there
wouldn't be enough inside to cover a small water-biscuit

4. Blackadder = Rove? Pretty close fit!
I'm thinking Blackadder III. George Bush, however, keeps switching between the roles of Baldrick and Prince George. Cheney as the Duke of Wellington?

Blackadder: A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.
