Can someone give me one unbiased example of Wilson's "dishonesty"?
Sorry, to be so dense, but I haven't watched corporate media in months. The last time I did, Joe Wilson's story seemed to be accepted even by the corporate media whores. It seemed to be common knowledge that he was telling the truth.

Now I hear that he's a liar. I heard a clip of various right wingers calling him that on Ed Shultz, but didn't hear a defense. I've seen reference to these accusations in thread titles here on DU. But I never seem to hear or read exactly what he did nor said that was dishonest.

So what did he supposedly say that was untrue? And if he didn't lie, why don't we have surrogates out there saying EXACTLY why this is B.S?

2. I can't give you one but I can give you an example of right wing distortio
Mehlman and others have been peddling the idea that Wilson at some point claimed Cheney had sent him to Niger. Wilson never said that, but the truth doesn't matter to these sick f**ks, especially when their backs are against the wall.

4. Thanks for the example
I thought it was something ridiculous like that. But I still don't understad why we aren't countering it then.

3. to answer your last question...
the reason the surrogates aren't debunking this is because Wilson isn't the issue.

6. He isn't the main issue
but the repukes are smearing him with lies and it only takes a few seconds to debunk lies. I don't see any point in letting them stand. The lies may seem ridiculous to us, and we may be able to see through them, but most * voters can't. And in the PR war, you need to fight back on many levels. The Dems simply won't.

8. I think people can see the irrelevance
in fact, you'd have to puzzle over it to see the relevance at all, or even to rememeber who Wilson is.

5. A word on Facism ....
* exalts the nation, (and sometimes the race or culture) above the individual, with the state apparatus being supreme.
* stresses loyalty to a single leader.
* uses violence and modern techniques of propaganda and censorship to forcibly suppress political opposition.
* engages in severe economic and social regimentation.
* engages in a syndicalist form of corporatism.
* implements totalitarian systems.

And I might add pulls facts out of their ass. ;) Peace.

10. You would think so .....
but for the state of our 'Corporate owned Media'... though I am quite proud of the journalists at the Scotty Roasts lately. Still the news channels let these lies get started and don't follow up with the calling out of these lies! And you have the FAUX network blatantly propagating this b.s. ... anyway ... must calm down, must breath, must get air now..... ;) .... all we can do is tell the truth. Hang in there, Peace. :)

9. Is the investigation about Mr. Wilson...or the outting of his wife?
What does Wilson have to do with the outting of his wife's name? Seems like a GOP MO to dirty the water distraction-distraction- distraction.

11. Clearly Rove is directing his own "public" defense
because this smear campaign of Ambassador Wilson is a typical Rovian tactic.
