Jerry Falwell...Scary Thought
I dont know if this has been posted. Found this quote on Eric Alterman's blog Altercation, which I recommend. This is very scary if Falwell is true. Below is Alterman's link and the New York Times link that he quotes. To think Falwell will have input on who is a Supreme Court Justice makes me shudder and wince all at once. He says he is not offering advice, but why would he have to?

"Someone from the White House called me yesterday, asking for any input I might have," said the Rev. Jerry Falwell, the founder of the Moral Majority and chancellor of Liberty University in Virginia.

1. Well. it's probably true, but Falwell could be lying.
I mean, he's not exactly known for being a REAL Christian.
