yet again, he shows us where his bread is buttered. Notice anything strange about
this?
"
Ganging UpThe sight of David Gregory, Terry Moran, John Roberts and other White House correspondents badgering Scott McClellan over Karl Rove has triggered some pretty strong reactions.
Many on the left are saying it's about time that journalists found some backbone and got tough on the Bush team.
Others are saying that the White House gang are showing their true anti-Bush colors and are hopping mad because their colleagues are involved (Matt Cooper, who testified yesterday about Rove and other "double super secret background" sources, and Judy Miller, who's now spent a week in an Alexandria jail)." <snip>
So in Howie Fucking Kurtz's world, there is "the left" and "others"--i.e., those without an agenda or an identity. Are there no "others" who also feel it is unconscionable to blow the cover of a covert CIA agent and harm our national security in a time of war? These others, he goes on to say, are looking out for fellow journalists because they don't like being lied to. Yes, Howie Fucking Kurtz--they just LOVE the truth so much they let the story sink for two years. They couldn't have done a little research of their own in that time and uncovered some truth on their own without Fitzgerald's help? Or were these others so busy covering their asses and collecting their paychecks that they were willing to be lied to as long as they got to go to cocktail parties and offer their colorful analysis on Washington Week in Review?
I think we might want to remind Howie we are watching and reading. And we see through his lies.
