I was reading the story on the ABC News web site regarding the link between the London bombers and Naeem Noor Khan at this link:

I would like to point out that the identity of Naeem Noor Khan was leaked by the Bush Administration for political reasons in 2004 before the investigation was complete. See:

With the recent news story that Karl Rove leaked the identity of a CIA operative to the press for political reasons, and the failure of many to understand the seriousness of such a leak, I thought it appropriate to show the direct link between the leak of Khan's identity and the London bombing. We will never know if this bombing could have been thwarted if the Bush Administration could have kept their mouth shut. However, it seems quite clear that the leak of classified information from the White House for political purposes could jeapardize American lives and must be stopped immediately. The White House has no plans to do this, and is currently protecting Karl Rove from all consequences of his actions. Whether Karl Rove or some other player at the White House was responsible for the Khan leak is something that is at yet unknown. Again, it seems clear the White House has no desire to find the culprit or stop the leaks of classified information.

We, the public, need the press to protect us when our government won't. You must tell this story so the public can understand the risks this Administration is creating for us by leaking classified information for political purposes in a time of war.
